Jammu, November 04: Taking the optimism debate further let’s analyze why this sudden surge in rhetoric on ‘intolerance’ by the ‘award wapsi’ gang in India has gained momentum with a new entrant everyday all joining hands not to malign Modi only but the whole nation even as the world media is watching with a wry smile.
The campaign which now many observers believe is a well planned move of the opposition to project a wrong image of the current government among the minorities as well as the international leaders to achieve twin goals of reaping the political benefits at home and help US-Saudi-Pakistan (USP) network to use it as a tool to deny India permanent seat in UNSC and blame the government for which billions are allegedly being spent.
Not going into this debate going-on-full-throttle on social media let us confine ourselves to know the reasons why opposition is not playing the role of opposition but that of the enemy of the government.
Opposing for the sake of opposition is a trait of the Indian political system where the very definition of political opposition has been eroded to an extent where now the opposition looks like the enemy nation within the nation instead of playing the constructive role of opposition as defined in the constitution.
Congress which has taken the leadership of the award wapsi gang for so called intolerance in India seems to have a clear agenda on hand to reap the political benefit and let others reap the economic benefits out of the misery of the nation.
The games that Congress is playing are dangerous for the country and in no way the main opposition party that has ruled this nation for around six decades seems content with the role of just opposition by stooping so low as to break the nation for the vested political agenda.
Had it not been so why would the party create such a hullabaloo over a couple of criminal incidents that can happen in any country forgetting that massacres have taken place in their own rule when nobody came forward to return the awards.
With such actions the debate on social media seems justified where it is being said that a secret meeting took place between the so called intellectuals and congress political leaders at JNU, IIC and other places to decide how to bring the government to its knees and asking Nyantara Sehgal to lead and remove the fear the psychosis among the ‘intellectuals’.
Since Earth News does not believe in negative journalism we do not believe the social media rumour mill but at the same time it is painful to see that the very concept of Indianness is being harmed in a brutal manner and that too for the political ambitions of a few.
Our question is still the same that how can a few incidents here or there, howsoever grave they may be, turn the country of 1.25 billion as intolerant even as the whole country is going about its daily routine without any fear psychosis or fear of being targeted by the other faith.
The concept of communalism, casteism and sectarianism is being propagated by none other than these award wapsi gangs lead by Congress which will only polarize the nation and pit one community against another without any reason or rhyme.
We may be anything within our nation but for other nations we are just Indians and by this vicious and false propaganda our Indianness is being maligned the world over which would have long time ramifications like Muslims who are targeted everywhere in the world for the follies of a few like Pakistan, ISIS and Osama.
It is our duty therefore to protect our nationalism by using the same tools of media and stop this brigade from spreading lies around the globe.
