Blanket ban on student politics in educational institutions need of the hour!

Jammu, February 16: While the anti-national activities of the JNU students are getting widespread support from the enemy agents within the society and intellectual community the need of the hour is to impose a blanket ban on any kind of political activity in any of the educational institutions.

Like the schools, the colleges and universities must also have non-political involvement certificates if we want to keep education away from anti-national politics.

Argument that universities are the practical labs for higher studies does not hold much water when the premises and freedom is abused under the garb of freedom of speech which can never be accepted when it attacks our national integration.

Educational institutions are a place of learning and research but in India the educational institutions have been allowed to be hijacked by the separatists and anti-national elements to be used as breeding grounds for separatism and treason.

The political parties have developed a huge vested interest in the students politics as they find soft targets here where a few people least interested in studies are roped in to be leaders and then used as cannon fodder to further the nefarious designs of politicians and enemy countries equally.

The fact is that the likes of Kanahiyas if asked to appear in an exam publically will prove Muna Bhais as their whole gambit of so called research depends on cheating by forming a pressure group to browbeat the administration and keep the political pot boiling.

The freedom that these shameless politicians are talking about is nothing but the kind of vote bank politics that they have been indulging in for the past more than six decades where every soft target is exploited to hilt to reap the political dividends while the country goes to dogs.

The incidents like that of JNU are actually well planned by the terrorists and politicians together to suit their individual policies be it student union elections or flaring up emotions during an election.

The current turmoil is also the outcome of their frustration of being out of power and getting defeated by a man whom they tried to keep away from power utilizing every political trick under the Sun.

The time has come when government must rethink over its educational polices and freedom that is being abused by such radical elements  by putting a blanket ban on any kind of politics on the campus of educational institutions.

The ban must also include the forming of students unions on campus and participation of students in political activities.

The government must also ensure that this time the justice should not be allowed to get derailed and culprits must be punished severely by forming fast track courts, fixing the responsibility and awarding the punishments so that a message goes clear that come what may, anti-national activities would not be allowed on Indian soil anymore.
