Jammu, November 18: The world is in chaos and confusion due to escalating terrorism that has started hitting the big and powerful shaking their confidence and prompting knee jerk reactions the world over.
The sudden escalation and open threats by ISIS to super powers has acted as fuel to fire giving license to the big powers to strike at will to dismantle the terror network currently headed by Abu Bakar Bhagdadi but at the same time creating a fear psychosis that Muslim world might get polarized to give birth to the third world war.
Meanwhile another transition is taking place very prominently taking the world by storm and that is the new found status of India as global leader under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has been hailed by all the big powers showering praises on his leadership and his political acumen.
But as they say we Indians are always ready to pull down our own leaders for petty political benefits which were demonstrated by two congress leaders recently in Pakistan demonizing Narendra Modi and seeking Pakistan help to oust him.
However what the time demands at present is that India being recognized the world over for its leadership and economic power must assert itself and take the role of the leader as the time is ripe for the nation to reinvent itself to its ancient times when India was the guru of the world in intellectualism and spiritualism.
With Modi showing the grit and determination of a world class statesmanship it is but obvious that world leaders are also looking towards him with respect and hope.
India being the world’s largest democracy and having the history of religious tolerance, acceptability and coexistence of all religions with its ancient slogan of “Vasu Dev Kutumbkam” (The world is my family) it is only this nation that can guide the world from darkness of terror and chaos to light and peace in future.
As many global leaders have said during Modi’s visit to different countries that India was a knowledge hub of intellectualism, spiritualism and also the fast emerging economies it has also emerged as a ray of hope for the world to find its path from the dark alleys of chaos and confusion to spiritual light and communal coexistence and brotherhood.
India which once was called golden sparrow was considered as world leader due to its huge and top notch universities where students from around the globe used to come for higher studies and economic wealth and Vedic life style which was far ahead of times preaching peaceful, harmonious and tolerant civil society where anybody could come and propagate his religious beliefs without any hindrance.
These values are still ingrained in the Indian society and we still have hundreds of languages, religions, sects and faiths coexisting peacefully making a 1.25 billion strong country where despite Hindus being in majority, secularism is the basic tenet of the constitution.
With this background and the strong political leadership at present it is time that India provides a true leadership to the world to lead it to the glorious future of peace and prosperity.
